Relaxation
Relaxation is a physical skill before it is a mental one. The quickest way into it is the breath, because it is the one part of the stress response you can take hold of directly.
These pages start there and work outwards — the breath, then the body, then the longer techniques worth practising when things are calm so they are available when they are not.
